The Trail Running Film Festival is proud to announce the launch of its Poster Design Competition for the upcoming 2026 Global Tour. Visual artists from around the world are invited to submit portfolios for the opportunity to create a commissioned work that will become the official artwork for the 2026 tour.
The selected design will be featured on the official tour poster and widely distributed across festival merchandise, promotional materials, and international screening events. This is a unique opportunity for artists to showcase their work on a global stage while celebrating the culture, diversity, and community of trail running.
We seek an original, commissioned artwork that captures the adventurous spirit, inclusivity, and emotional power of trail running. Artists working in any medium—digital or traditional—are encouraged to apply. Note: Applicants do not need to submit a completed poster design; selection will be based on prior portfolio work. AI-generated art will not be accepted.
The selected artist will collaborate with the Trail Running Film Festival team to finalize the design, dimensions, and formatting. The final piece must be submitted both in its original unframed form and as a high-resolution digital file formatted for vertical poster layout.
We welcome submissions from visual artists of all backgrounds—whether you’re a fine artist, illustrator, or digital creator. If your work captures energy, movement, and connection to the natural world, we encourage you to apply.
