Trail Running Film Festival Concludes Successful 2025 Season, Prepares for 2026

The Trail Running Film Festival is pleased to announce the conclusion of a successful 2025 season and extends sincere gratitude to the global trail running community for its support and enthusiasm.

We would like to recognize and thank our 2025 sponsors, whose commitment and partnership made this season possible. Opportunities and Announcements for 2026

With the 2025 season now complete, planning for the 2026 Trail Running Film Festival Tour is underway. We are pleased to share several opportunities for engagement:

• Sponsorship Opportunities: New and exciting sponsorship opportunities are available for 2026. Interested organizations are encouraged to contact Mathias Eichler (matthias@trailfilmfest.com) for consideration.
  
• Film Submissions: Film submissions for the 2026 tour are now open through Film Freeway. Filmmakers interested in showcasing their work can learn more and submit their projects at: https://trailfilmfest.com/filmmakers/.
  
• Poster Artist Contest Search: The opportunity to design the official 2026 festival poster remains open. We are seeking a custom piece of art that represents our mission and speaks to the global trail running community. Of note: there is no need to design a poster before being selected. Submissions are based on past portfolio work and the chosen artist will receive US$1,000 for a commissioned original piece. • Festival Hosts: In 2025, the Trail Running Film Festival was proud to present over 100 screenings worldwide, thanks to the dedication of our hosts. We hope to expand our reach even further in 2026. We will be in contact soon with information regarding hosting opportunities for 2026.
