Trail Running Film Festival Launches Biggest Tour Yet

[Olympia, WA 3/10/25] – The Trail Running Film Festival is thrilled to announce the launch of its highly anticipated 2025 Tour, presented by Brooks, our title sponsor. Featuring six incredible films that celebrate the spirit, adventure, and community of trail running, this year’s festival is the largest yet, with over 80 tour dates already scheduled across the globe and more to come.

Featured Films:

  • Elite Heart (13 min) – Directed by Devin Whetstone & Jordan Marie Whetstone
    Callie Vinson, once weighing 377 lbs, trains to complete a 100-mile trail race while championing body positivity and inclusivity in endurance sports.
  • The Pointe Pessey (18 min) – Directed by Alexandre Chambet
    Iris embarks on a record-breaking ascent of her childhood mountain in France, confronting personal expectations and the meaning of true success.
  • Our Terrain (30 min) – Directed by Anna Brannon
    Missouri’s Ozark Foothills set the stage for an ultra race where runners battle extreme weather and personal limits to reach the finish line.
  • Talk to Frank (5 min) – Directed by Matt Green
    A cocker spaniel named Frank helps his owner Maleek transition from incarceration and depression to the healing power of mountain running.
  • We Are Here. We Run Long. (8 min) – Directed by Tony DiPasquale
    The inaugural Camp We Run Long gathers BIPOC trail runners to foster community, increase representation, and expand diversity in the sport.
  • Halfway to Crazy (33 min) – Directed by David DAngelo
    Ultra runner Candice Burt pushes the boundaries of endurance while attempting the fastest known time on the grueling 800-mile Arizona Trail.
